Delray Beach Courthouse Wedding Photographer
Getting married at the Delray Beach courthouse? Congratulations! You don’t need a ballroom or a big guest list for your day to feel enormous. The nervous laugh before you say your vows, the quiet look between the two of you, the moment you finally exhale: that’s what I photograph. Not just posed perfection, but how the day felt.
I’m Inta, a South Florida wedding photographer, and small courthouse ceremonies are some of my favorite days to shoot. They’re quick, honest, and full of real emotion.

The ceremony itself is usually brief. With your arrival and portraits afterward, plan on about 2 hours in total, which is what the package covers.

Courthouse ceremonies through the Palm Beach County Clerk have been by appointment, so please check with the Clerk’s office before your date. The South County Courthouse is at 200 W. Atlantic Ave., Delray Beach. The Clerk’s marriage license and ceremony hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., closed on court holidays. Ask the Clerk about current appointment rules, fees, and witness requirements.

Whatever makes you feel like yourselves. Many couples choose a simple dress or a light suit, since the portraits afterward are outdoors in South Florida’s warm weather. Light, breathable fabrics photograph beautifully.

Yes, and it’s one of my favorite parts. After the ceremony we usually head to downtown Delray for portraits at Old School Square and in the Pineapple Grove Arts District, with palms, shade, and colorful murals. We can go to the beach too, but I usually don’t recommend it: parking is difficult and the beach is often crowded, which cuts into your time. Tell me what you have in mind and I’ll suggest the best plan for your timing and the weather.

Yes. I photograph courthouse weddings throughout Palm Beach County, including West Palm Beach, Delray Beach, and Palm Beach Gardens. Send me your date and courthouse and I’ll confirm availability.

Popular dates fill up, so earlier is better. Many couples contact me 1 to 4 weeks ahead. Send me your date and I’ll tell you right away if it’s open.
-
That’s completely okay. You can share your next-day sneak peek gallery with them right away, so they feel part of the day even from far away.
-
The number of guests allowed in the ceremony room is set by the Clerk’s office, so please ask when you book your appointment. I’m happy to photograph whoever joins you, including family portraits after the ceremony.
